Critical illness insurance is an extremely effective form of insurance - whether
you combine it into your life insurance policy (which is by far the cheapest
way to buy both types of insurance) or you take out separate policies (which
gives you far more protection - see 'What benefits will Critical Illness cover
add to my Life policy?
It's important to note that if you opt for a combined life insurance and Critical
Illness policy and you make a claim because of Critical Illness, the policy is
finished and will not pay out again if you were to die.
If you want your life insurance to continue after a Critical Illness claim, then
you will need to take out separate policies for Critical Illness and life insurance.
This will cost you more but gives you full cover until the day you die.
